The plumping effect is subtle, but definitely there. I'd say the effect matches the pictures on the product page very well. As a VT Cosmetics Reedle Shot 100 user (excellent product btw), I knew what to expect regarding the tingly, kind of stingy sensation from the gloss so I didn't mind it, but I do feel like it needs to be mentioned as first time users might be surprised by the sensation. Skincare/make-up products should never *hurt*, but the reedle series does come close! Bear that in mind. Always do a patch test - I do one on my wrist and one behind my ears. There's not a huge amount of product in the container, but I think the price ($20 at review) suits this calibre of product from a trusted K beauty brand. Overall, I like the product but will use it sparingly.

It noticeably plumped my lips!for the second trial I applied my usual watery lip stain first. Let it dry and then top coated with this gloss.
