The texture of the mask is quite oily but absorbs quickly and isn’t greasy - I know that doesn’t sound like it makes sense but it’s true. It smells of ginger which is unusual in a face mask but not unpleasant - a fresh ginger not gingerbread if you know what I mean. I would say it’s a great summer night mask as it absorbs quite quickly but I’m not sure it’s strong enough for my dry winter skin. It left my skin feeling very soft which was lovely, I’m not sure it had much of an impact on fine lines. Also, I suffer from rosacea when stressed, hot, tired etc and this had no negative effects on my sensitive skin which I would have expected with such a strong and unusual fragrance.

Rich sleeping mask that is very moisturising and comfortable on my very dry skin. It works as a very nice final step to your skincare routine at night and sinks in easily. Strongly scented of ginseng but I quite enjoy that.

Fatto tutte le sere, la mia carnagione è migliorata a vista d’occhio. Non so dire se vada bene per tutti i tipi di pelle e per ogni età. Dopo una settimana, i risultati che io ho ottenuto sono stati tali da spingermi ad adottare tutta la linea di skin care coreana che richiede comunque una serie di passaggi: olio detergente, tonico, siero, idratazione… Detta così sembra lungo e noioso. Invece è piacevolissimo. E comunque i risultati sono sorprendenti e visibili non solo ai miei occhi ma anche a quelli delle miei amiche. Oltretutto la spesa complessiva è di gran lunga inferiore alla cifra che spendevo in creme e cremette “occidentali “.

Llevo tres semanas usándolo, pero ya desde la primera aplicación noté que por la mañana la piel se nota más suave, aterciopelada y jugosa.Muy contenta con el producto. Venía bien empaquetado, el olor es agradable, fácil de aplicar y no sé si nutre, hidrata o lo que sea, pero noto la peil mucho mejor. Vale lo que cuesta, buena inversión

Best for hydration

I have gotten into the Korean 10 step skincare regime recently and bought this on the recommendation from Asian skin-thusiasts Gothamista and Fifty Shades of Snail, researching their Youtube and beauty blogs which have been incredibly informative when you are new to Asian skincare. I use the Sulwhasoo first active serum, which I love, and was always curious about this mask as it is another holy-grail product, but I was put off buying it since it was quite expensive. I also wasn’t sure if I needed another layer on top of my moisturiser in my existing regime. Still, I wanted to try it as my skin is mature, can be dehydrated/dry, and I use retinal and actives at night which can cause flaking around the nose area and wondered if this would help.It arrived boxed, sealed and was genuine. I used it as the last item at night, as suggested, to add and seal in the hydration. I thought it would be too heavy, but the consistency is quite light, applies very smoothly and you only need a small amount for a thin layer. You can feel that it has a very sophisticated application, a formula of a lot of beneficial ingredients and the distinctive herbal ginseng smell. I woke up to the softest smoothing and hydrated skin and without any flakiness around my nose. Really impressed. Now I currently use it about 2-3 nights a week after actives. Am so glad I finally added this to my routine.
