I love the product, not the expensive price.

The word “breakthrough” might well be the most overused and disbelieved word in cosmetics, and it’s disappointing to see it rolled out yet again for a new product from Murad. However, the magic word for us is not breakthrough but Murad. We’ve tested Murad products before and found them really really good, albeit pricy. So, ignoring the “breakthrough” blurb, we got down to business with trying this one.We like this one. Presentation is contemporary, with the metal screw-cap and chunky put lifting out of what can be the same-old same-old on the shelf. So, lookswise it wins. Remove the lid and what’s inside is a full pot (not one of those optical illusion things that work like the opposite of a Tardis!) The cream is opaque cream-white, ever so slightly yellow. It’s a very light cream, which vanishes into the skin the moment you touch it. Despite the speed of absorption, it does spread easily, and a little goes a long way with each application.This is an overnight cream, so that quick absorption means it ends up in your skin and not on the pillow. You can iron the creases out of a cotton pillowcase; your skin is where the cream is needed. We are unsure about the detox credentials, mainly because we have no objective way of measuring it, but it does leave skin looking better by morning. It brightens and softens and moisturizes, which is a good look to wake to. It fills too, plumping skin to fill-out fine wrinkles. All this is in the blurb, and it does do all those things very well.Obviously, this is Murad not Nivea. It costs more. Okay, it costs a lot more. But it is terrific stuff. We’ve tested a few Murad products in recent times, including things like its Age-Diffusing Firming Mask and so on, and got along just fine with all of them. For less money there are several effective offerings in L’Oreal’s Revatalift range, though a closer comparison might be with Gatineau’s Perfection Ultime offering. All are good and, while Nivea is terrific at the budget end, and we do use Nivea often, we’ve found Murad reliably hard to beat for performance, which kind of justifies the price.

This is a rich but non-greasy moisturiser which smells delicious. I was very impressed by the glow it gave my skin when I woke up. I also am impressed by the way the product is dispensed: you push down on the top to release the moisturiser, which stops germs getting into it. This is so important - I am really anti products which come in a tub!Murad does it again. Whether it is anti-ageing et al remains to be seen but as a night cream or a moisturiser or any skin, city-slicker or otherwise, this is one of the best I've tried.

A great product that lives up to my expectations. It has softened and rejuvenated my dry skin.

I have maturing skin with a tendency to dryness, and I always use a night cream after cleansing; before bed. I have tried many and varied products at many and varied price ranges, and must say I am muchly impressed by this one.I like the light stylish jar, with its pump action dispenser that dispenses just the right quantity of cream , keeping the rest clean and fresh and reducing the risk of bacteria getting inside - you can also twist off the lid in the conventional way if you prefer!I like the very subtle fragrance and the texture is creamy and very quickly absorbed - not sticky - and it absorbs very well overnight, it leaves my face feeling fresh and the following morning it still feels soft.I have also used it while in holiday after coming in from sun exposure- again it kept my skin fresh and springy!Long term I think it has improved my skins general texure and reduced the taut dryness and possibly made it more dewy and youthful. I'm eking out the jar since its out of stock and not currentky available on Amazon as I will probably keep using it!

The cream comes in a pump jar, there is a film on top of the jar that you push down and the cream pops out.This is quite a good idea as you don't have to use your fingers and you can measure how many pumps you use, it also seems more hygienic. However, you can also screw off the lid off like a conventional jar if you wanted to use your fingers or get to every last nitty-gritty bit of the cream when nearly empty.The cream is lovely and rich without being heavy. It absorbs very well and I have noticed a difference with my skin looking fresher and brighter when I awake. It is also lightly scented but has a natural scent rather than perfumed. I would recommend this for middle-aged skin and also found it was gentle enough to use around the eyes.

I could see a difference within a few days. I would give it five stars if it weren't so expensive

This skin cream company makes lots of claims for this product. I have found that it makes my skin feel softer; is beginning to even out my skin tone from a bit blotchy with some age spots to a more even skin colour; stops my skin from reacting so quickly to the chlorine in the swimming pool; goes on smoothly and easily and is absorbed quickly; has no discernible odour and minimum no fuss down to earth packaging. A small amount of this cream goes a long way so should last quite a long time. Living in a city does your skin no favours, especially as you get older, so anything that helps correct/stave off the damage is a good thing.

Murad is one of the so called 'cosmicutical' brands, ie developed by doctor/dermatologist and offering cosmetic and pharmaceutical benefits. Of these brands Murad is, in my opinion, one of the better ones.I had spent a little too long in the sun and had a heat rash on my chest so I thought I would see what effect this had. Overnight it completely calmed it down. On top of that the skin on my face felt very moisturised and soft.Personally I find the almost negligible smell a little off putting, it is slightly weird and vegetal but given the way the product feels in action am moe than prepared to put up with it.I have been using this for a week now and believe I am seeing a real difference in my skin and the way it feels.

Very impressed with this moisturiser. It has a lid for cleanliness and a push down top with a little hole in the centre to dispense the cream. Very neat. The cream smells lovely. Sort of fruity. It feels lovely and light on the skin, and soaks in very quickly. Leaves my skin feeling beautiful. I love it. No idea of the price so can't comment on value.

love Murad products and will never change

I like everything about this product, it is like getting a mini peel each night. It is sheer and there is no scent, especially for someone who is allergic to everything--this is important.

I absolutely love this moisturiser. A lot of others break my skin out. But this gives me a soft dewey look in the morning. I use it 4-5 times a week and alternate with another serum. The dispenser is fab and allows me to have just enough. It doesn't have a strong smell and I'll certainly be re-ordering it.

I will use it every night and my skin will be very tender the next day

I have bought the travel kit first to c if I like it. I loved it. Then bought the dark spot remover and eventually this product because they are both not in the travel kit. This is my favorite product in the line besides the dark spot remover and the brightening serum. This product is genuinely worth every penny. It has made my skin soft in one night. And after using it a week I can totally tell a difference in my face just because of this one product. The entire line is excellent and I recommend it to anyone that is not happy with dark spots or have no glow I. Their face. It is just an awesome product snd I love the detox part. This has changed my skin in one week. But I recommend getting the entire brightening line to really make a difference. U don’t need much. And can buy the trial size kit then but the dark spot remover, this product and the toner since they are not in the kit. Then buy the rest of the bigger sizes of the ones I. The kit. It’s expensive and I think they could do a little better o. The price but for what it’s done to my face it has been truly worth every penny.
